Of witchcraft, mice, and chocolate: is there a connection?

Updated: Sep 12, 2023

Willy Wonka lured children to his Chocolate Factory where children representing the Seven Deadly Sins became victims of unfortunate accidents. He also had a flute he used to summon the Oompa Loompas. The evil deity known as Pan used a Pan Flute to lure children to their death. Even the name, candy, comes from the Kingdom of Candia on the island of Crete where children were sacrificed to a minotaur who lived in a labyrinth. Remember the labyrinth scene in The Shining? That wasn't in the book. Stanley Kubrick added it to the movie. And the Mars company, named after the Mars family who created it in 1911 along with trick or treating that same year, won't tell anyone how the letter 'm' is put on M&Ms because it' s "top secret" and because they want to "keep the magic and mystery alive." I don't want any "top secret" candy with "magic and mystery" that needs to stay "alive." I'll pass on that, but thank you.

Hollywood—named after the type of wood used to make magic wands—released a movie in 1990 called The Witches, where children were turned into mice. One of the children told the head witch that she owed him six bars of chocolate and that he had come to collect, but she poisoned him and turned him into a mouse. A new version of this movie was released in 2020.

Not many people know that documentary filmmaker, Ken Burns, owns chocolate shops called L.A. Burdick located in Cambridge, MA, Boston, NYC, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Walpole, NH, where he lives. Their signature chocolate is a mouse that I think resembles the shape of a pineal gland. His wife also runs children's charities in Boston and NYC called Room to Grow.

But it gets even creepier. This video clip from an Israeli TV show mocks the crucifixion of Jesus. The gorilla keeps talking about wanting to eat Toblerone. Toblerone is based in Bern, Switzerland, home of the Kinderfresser (child eater) statue. Toblerone currently makes their chocolate bars in Croatia, but plans to move operations to Slovakia by the end of 2023. Both countries have HUGE problems with human trafficking. Revelation 2:13 revealed that Satan lives near Geneva, Switzerland due to the "Christian account" of where Antipas was martyred. Wikipedia used to say this was at Apollyon's Temple near Geneva, but removed this some time last year, apparently in favor of a non-Christian account of where it happened.

Another thing about chocolate that's creepy to me, and there are several, is Baker's Chocolate establisthed in 1764 in Dorchester, MA. It was created by Dr. James Baker, and a man named John Hannon, who went to the West Indies in 1779 to get chocolate and never returned. Why would a doctor want to get into the chocolate business? He was selling it to rich Jews in Newport, RI who were getting rich from the American slave trade. Geneva also happens to have a large Jewish population. During the Middle Ages, Jews were being expelled from other parts of Switzerland, including Bern, but were allowed to live in Carouge, which is now part of Geneva.

Another creepy chocolate product in my opinion is Nutella. It is based on "Pasta Gianduja," a chocolate paste created in Turin, Italy during Napoleonic rule. Turin, Italy also has a large Jewish population. During Napoleonic rule, Jews were allowed to operate businesses. One of these businesses was selling chocolate, and the official story for how Pasta Gianduja was created is that there was a chocolate shortage so hazelnuts were mixed in in order to keep sales from falling. I'm' not sure if I believe this official story knowing what I know now about things like John Podesta's Walnut Sauce, which I believe has a secret "mystical" ingredient, like the pizza from the movie, Mystic Pizza. I was looking at their ingredient list and trying to think of how this could be done without people knowing and found that one of the ingredients is skimmed milk powder. There also happen to be a lot of skimmed milk producers in Ukraine, but I'm not sure where Nutella gets theirs from. It's also a bit strange to me that another Swiss company, Nestle, got their start in the baby formula business before becoming known for making chocolate. Apparently the people who happen to live where Satan lived care about babies and want our children to eat their candy.
